亚文亚裔青少年交响乐团

亚文亚裔青少年交响乐团成立于2011年,一直秉承弘扬中国文化,促进族裔共容的宗旨,致力通过音乐表演的形式共建多元社区。每年,乐团都会组织两次大型音乐会,以及数场“音乐献爱心”公益活动,让在美的亚裔青年艺术家们,在施展才华的同时,可以更好的回馈社区。

To elevate the techniques and musicianship of each member through concert and rehearsal activities.

To encourage communication, community involvement and cultural awareness between the Western and Asian music traditions through orchestral music playing environment.

To attract broad audiences from different ethnicities and cultures for the support of the organization’s activities within the diverse community.

Founder/Artistic Director/Music conductor

Jie Yang, Conductor, violinist and violist. Founder of The Greater Boston Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra in Massachusetts. Before coming to Boston, Mr. Yang has served as a conductor, program director and violin/viola teacher for Dallas Asian American Youth Symphony Orchestra and Plano Independent School District, in Texas. Under his leadership, Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra has given many public performances to community of Dallas area, in Texas. Mr. Yang served as a Concert Master of Dailan Symphony Orchestra and Liaoling Symphony Orchestra in China. He has performed to the public both in China and the United States. He received his Bachelor Degree in Violin Performance from ShenYang Conservatory, China. Both of his Gradate Performance Diploma and Master Degree in Violin Performance, were awarded from Longy School of Music, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He studied with renowned violinist Emmuel Borok, Eric Rosenblith, Janet Packer and Roman Totenberg, Viola studied with Patricia McCarty. Jie Yang is an enthusiastic chamber music coach and educator. His passion in music making and diligent teaching has won high recognition in the music community. His students are participating in all District & Region orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, New England Conservatory and local music school. He leads many of his students to community performances in the Greater Boston area. Mr. Yang teaches and lives in Lexington with his family.
